Starting in the summer of 2024, Chalet Du Crey has set up a dedicated bike room to coincide with the Tour de France’s visit to Moutiers. Cyclists can use a secure space to store their bikes, access repair kits, receive advice on local bike routes, and even rent or repair bikes if needed. It’s the ideal place for cyclists to leave their bikes in complete peace of mind.
For the design of its bike room, the hotel relied on BikeRail Storage Solutions. The result can be described as a versatile space that “breathes bicycles” in the summer and is converted into a ski locker in winter. “This solution is perfect for the hotel. BikeRail collaborated with us to design a bike room that aligns with our mission as a ‘bike-friendly hotel,’” says Daana Shodjaie, hotel director. “The bike room was an important asset in obtaining the Accueil Vélo certification as a bike-friendly hotel.”
